2 antique clown costumes were made in delicate organza. The hand bead work had a vintage feel about it. 

Distressed beading looks much like it has aged for at least 10 years or so. Many label the look as vintage.

The beads used for this type of hand bead embroidery are normally dull and muted colours.

Silvers, tarnished metals and other de-lustered findings are used to create this feeling through out the beading
