Miss Saigon 1994
Bikini chorus prototypes, 6 Elvis suit collars for the chorus were commissioned to my Beading & Embroidery services company.
This was the first theatrical shows that I beaded on. It was back in 1994 when theatre was thriving and a new big extravagant show happened each year. It was a great time to begin in this dynamic and creative industry.
White satin suspender bikinis and bras for a chorus line of girls and royal blue & gold sequined jacket lapels for the troupe of boys.
Costumes were encrusted with shimmering satin bugle beads, crystals, sequins and diamantes. Fringing was long and ornate. Working on these costumes was a real fun introduction to theatre.
