Elle Magazine Cover Sarah O' Hare 2001

Seeing the cover of Australian Elle Magazine in 2001 was an exciting moment. The delicately beaded bikini she wore on the cover was one of the pieces I had been commissioned to bead for Lisa Ho's resort wear range. 

Tiny Japanese glass delica beads were stitched onto the lycra bikini. The range of colours with these beads is astounding and all the beads stitched together create a subtle yet classic looking example of delicate bead work.
