Vintage Inspired Beaded Purse with clasp

If you are creative and love the sparkle that beads bring to your special accessory then this is the class for you. Choose from 3 shaped bags that all have ornate square clasps. This project uses the traditional skills of hand bead embroidery onto fabric. Upon completion of your beading project you will stitch the bag together and into the clasp.

you will begin by preparing and embellishing a rich de-lustered satin fabric with Czech & Swarovski crystals, seed beads and bugle beads. The bead embroidery techniques you will learn include: straight stitch, whip stitch, single seed bead anchor stitch and you will learn to create delicate crystal flowers. Fabric choices include: Black or Navy or Sage Green or Lilac. Bead & Clasp colour choices include: Gold or Silver. The actual size of the purse is approx 19cm x 25cm. Skill level is for beginners or enthusiasts. Kit cost= $105.00. Please indicate on the booking form your colour choice.
